Executive Virtual Assistance® is a privately-owned and operated company founded by me, Kathy J. Berona. I opened my cyber doors in June of 2001 and I am extremely thankful to have 8+ successful years in business.
Prior to taking the leap into business ownership, I served in various administrative roles for more than 14 years. From my first job in 1987 as a Receptionist to my last corporate position in 2001 as Office Manager at an IT consulting firm, I have developed a vast working knowledge of business office operations and an extraordinary knowledge of technology.
I am a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) which is the highest level of accreditation in the administrative career given by the International Association of Administrative Professionals. Thousands sit for this intensive exam every year but only a few achieve the certification.
I am a 1999 graduate of AssistU and serve on the Ethics Committee. AssistU is a virtual university training only the best Virtual Assistants. I am a 1987 graduate from the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center as a Business Office Specialist.
I perform at a Masters level in all Microsoft Office applications. In addition, I have an advanced knowledge of many leading and proprietary software programs ranging from ecommerce, bookkeeping, customer relationship management, marketing, real estate and more. The many years of experience as an administrative professional, along with my accomplished technology know-how, have significantly contributed to the success of Executive Virtual Assistance®.

I only work with clients looking for on-going assistance. I do not work with those who want only one or two tasks completed here and there or help on a one-time project. The rationale behind this client selection process is two-fold.
First, I know delegating your administrative tasks in piece-meal fashion is not in your best interest for the long haul. It is a quick-fix that will not produce lasting results. You will waste time in rework, managing the less experienced and the hassle of searching for a resource every time you need help in a different area.
